I think space is awesome, and so does the Geeklet. There are plenty of geeks who agree, so we’re putting on a space conference this weekend. We call it SpaceUp.

SpaceUp takes the tech-community unconference format and brings it to space geeks. That means any kind of space geek: aspiring astronauts, garage-based rocket nerds, space entrepreneurs, NASA employees, and all those awesome Space Tweeps. The attendee list is already pretty exciting.

If you’re in the area, join us at the San Diego Air & Space Museum this weekend, February 27-28. Registration is just $75 for the whole weekend, including food, swag, and behind-the-scenes tours of the Museum. We’ll also have space hardware on display just for SpaceUp.

If you can’t make it to San Diego, you can follow the live coverage on Spacevidcast. SVC will stream live video, plus they’ll have chat rooms open for each session so you can ask questions no matter where you are. They’ll also webcast the Ignite talks from the party on Saturday night, if you’re up for a little inspiration.

Registration closes tomorrow (Thursday), but feel free to jump in online at any time. Hope to see you there!
