Google's Logo Today
We love how sometimes Google’s logos really skew into the geeky, and today is a prime example. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s the anniversary of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or some such. Any ideas?

UPDATE: If I’d taken the time to click thru, I’d have seen the logo takes one to the Wikipedia page for Jules Verne, whose birthday it is today. Thanks to Matt Wilkins for gently pointing this out to me!
