More than two years ago I blogged about Robots + Monsters, the brainchild of artist Joe Alterio, selling geeky custom illustrations to raise money for good causes. The program had been on hiatus for a while, but in light of the recent events in Haiti, they’re back.
The destruction and human suffering wrought by the earthquake in Haiti has touched us all, whether we have a personal connection to the country or not. Robots + Monsters is committed to helping to alleviate the suffering of the Haitian people by partnering with the humanitarian group, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
Obviously we have our own donation drive going here at GeekDad, but considering what has happened, you can’t give too much, nor in too geeky a manner.
