This morning in the car, my daughter and I caught the latest offering from National Public Radio science correspondent Robert Krulwich: “Can Ants Count?”
Perfect for a few minutes of brain-waking. Here’s the accompanying video:
I still prefer the full audio version, because I’m a fan of Krulwich’s clear enthusiasm for science and the genuine curiousity he brings to his work. (The fun he has with his stories, and the fascination for questions both mundane and mind-blowing, has always reminded me of the late Richard Feynman’s style. He liked ants, too.)
And yes, “Pig Bristle Stilts” would be a good band name.
